WHALES AND DOLPHINS

A concert for all Whale and Dolphin lovers.   Featuring the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, 25th April, Croydon. UK.  The aim: to raise awareness of the dangers that these creatures face from military sonar experimentation.  The Navy's mid frequency sonar bombards whales with noise so intense (up to 236 decibels) that it can actually cause their internal organs to haemorrage.  The Navy has plans for these exercises to cause the equivalent of one detonation every two minutes for the next FIVE YEARS, with many of them in and around sensitive whale habitat.

It is not exactly known how many marine animals will die from this activity, but we do know that the numbers will be way over and above a comprehensible level.  It is a major issue.
